UP law professor asks netizens to stop sharing photos, videos of Manila City judge's killing

A University of the Philippines (UP) professor has asked netizens to delete, report, and stop sharing photos and videos of the Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) judge's death on social media.
 
In a Facebook post, Atty. Susan Villanueva appealed to netizens to "be sensitive and do the right thing."
 
"RTC Judge Tess Abadilla was mercilessly killed in the line of duty. Despite the impending typhoon, she was in her sala trying to right a wrong so she can render justice," Villanueva wrote.
 
"To respect her memory and to protect her family, may I ask everyone to delete all photos and videos of her death from social media," she added.
 
Villanueva also requested to report posts showing the incident "so it can be taken down." 
 
Abadilla died on Wednesday (Nov. 11) after she was shot inside her office on the fifth floor of the Manila City Hall allegedly by her clerk of court named Atty. Amador Rebato Jr., who also later killed himself, according to authorities.
 
Abadilla was declared dead on arrival at the Manila Medical Center at around 3:15 p.m.
