DASMARIÑAS, Cavite - A couple and their two-year-old child were killed when a building under construction collapsed amid the onslaught of Typhoon “Ulysses” around 5 a.m. on Thursday (November 12).
According to Dasmariñas City Representative Pidi Barzaga, several construction workers were staying at the back part of the building in Barangay Langkaan 1 when the incident happened.
The three bodies were retrieved under the debris at 5:02 p.m. and were taken to Pagamutan ng Dasmariñas for a formal declaration of death. Officials are now informing their next of kin about the tragic accident.
Earlier, another victim was rescued from the site at around 10 a.m. He was brought to the hospital and is now in stable condition.
