Manny Pacquiao on his Madame Tussaud's wax figure: 'Perfectly made'

Professional boxer, media celebrity, and politician Manny Pacquiao couldn't contain his happiness when he found out he was chosen to have a wax figure at Madame Tussaud's in Hong Kong.

In a recent interview, he noted it was a "different way" for him to represent the Philippines abroad.

"Tourists from all over the world will be able to see it in Hong Kong and not just Filipinos," was how he put it.

Manny also vividly remembered the long process it took to measure every part of his face and body for the wax figure.

"Everything was detailed," he pointed out.

Manny loved the fact that the team made it fun for him.

"They helped me throughout so I was at ease the whole time."

Asked what he would say to his wax figure, the 41-year-old star declared: "You're perfectly made!"

Manny looks forward to the day when he can visit the tourist attraction and take photos with his wax figure.

"I deeply appreciate all your efforts recognizing my contribution in the field of sports. My desire is to be an inspiration not just to the Filipinos but to people across the globe, to everyone who continues to pursue their dream regardless of challenges and obstacles. Let us all together keep dreaming bigger dreams. With God all things are possible," he said.

Aside from Manny, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and 2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray also have their respective images immortalized at Madame Tussaud's.
