'Oh, Mando' tackles young love like never before

"Oh, Mando," starring Alex Diaz, Barbie Imperial and Kokoy De Santos, is an original series that tackles young love like never before, while discovering sexuality. It begins streaming on iWant TFC on Nov. 5.

The romantic-comedy series tells the coming out and coming-of-age tale of Mando (Kokoy), a hopeless romantic and charming college boy who has long suppressed his attraction to boys.

Despite his confusion over his sexuality, Mando is charmed by the beautiful and liberated Krisha (Barbie) when they meet in a school play. They eventually enter into a relationship, while Mando continues to hide his secret from his girlfriend.

As Mando starts developing real feelings for Krisha, he experiences love at first sight when he meets a handsome, out and proud gay basketball Captain named Barry (Alex).

This sent Mando coming to terms with his sexuality as he becomes torn between doing the right thing for his current girlfriend Krisha and following his heart's desire by choosing Barry.

This original Pinoy Boys Love (BL) series is directed by Eduardo Roy Jr., the director of award-winning movies “Pamilya Ordinaryo,” “Lola Igna,” “Bahay Bata,” “Quick Change,” and the 2019 Cinemalaya entry “F#*@BOIS.”
