The contest is under the organization's "PinasForward! Let's move as one to revitalize our country's tourism industry" campaign.

It aims to showcase the various tourist spots each locality can offer as well as the changes they have made to ensure the health and safety of tourists amid the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Tourism was one of the hardest hit industries at the onset of the pandemic.

Manila's entry featured its redeveloped attractions—most of which were built within the months-long community quarantine—including the Lagusnilad Underpass, Manila Clock Tower, KapeTolyo, Andres Bonifacio Monument Park, Anda Circle, among others.

It also showed the establishment of several COVID-19 testing facilities in the capital city.

Manila has two molecular laboratories for swab testing at Sta. Ana Hospital. It also has a drive-thru serology testing center at Quirino Grandstand and five walk-in serology testing facilities at Justice Jose Abad Santos General Hospital, Ospital ng Tondo, Ospital ng Maynila, Ospital ng Sampaloc, and Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center.

The other winners in ATOP's tourism video contest are the municipality of Mauban, Quezon in Luzon; the province of Negros Occidental in Visayas; and the province of Davao Del Norte in Mindanao. Each will receive P5,000 cash prize.
