Vice President Leni Robredo on Monday visited her home province of Camarines Sur to assess the damage wrought about by super typhoon “Rolly.”
Robredo is also set to look into the situation of nearby provinces in the Bicol Region ravaged by the super typhoon, such as Albay and Catanduanes.
In her Facebook post, Robredo showed photos of “the first signs of devastation we saw.”
The photos showed houses submerged in flood waters, electric posts that toppled and houses badly damaged by strong winds.
In a Facebook Live post, the vice president showed the damage brought about by the typhoon at Sabang National High School, an evacuation center in Calabanga, Camarines Sur.
The Office of the Vice President also provided photos showing Robredo’s staff and members preparing packages for their relief efforts for the Bicol Region.
