PANGASINAN – Elements of the Pangasinan Provincial Highway Patrol Team (PHPT) and the Nueva Ecija police arrested the most wanted carnapper of Pangasinan at the wake of her husband in Nueva Ecija.
The Philippine National Police (PNP)-Highway Patrol Group (HPG) identified the suspect as 53-year-old Mary Jane Tolentino Bautista of Barangay Rosario, Pozorrubio, Pangasinan.
She was arrested by the Pangasinan PHPT and Nueva Ecija police last October 29 while attending the wake of her husband in Barangay Papaya, San Antonio, Nueva Ecija.

Meanwhile, authorities here encouraged victims of carnapping to file their complaint at the PNP-HPG Pangasinan.
They reiterated their warning to the public to be careful and verify records and documents thoroughly before buying second hand vehicles.
