TESDA Secretary Isidro Lapeña expressed his gratitude to GSIS for its continued support during the virtual signing of the Deed of Transfer between the two government agencies.

In his message, Lapeña shared how GSIS has been very helpful to TESDA.

“In our series of meetings we've had since last year, the GSIS has never said no to anything we've requested from them,” he said.

Under its Social Responsibility Program, GSIS has been active in responding to TESDA's insurance claims and even installed GSIS wireless automated processing system kiosk in the TESDA Central Office.

GSIS President and General Manager Rolando Macasaet, during the signing, said he is glad that they are able to help TESDA.

“I wish to say that GSIS is always willing to support TESDA. For example, yan pong Toyota Revo, magagamit niyo po ito para sa 'automotive'; yung computers, pwedeng gamitin yan for your 'computer repair' courses," Macasaet added.

Lapeña added that the donations of GSIS came in time as the country continues to fight the spread of COVID-19.

“TESDA has been working very hard to intensify our programs and services to help our countrymen face challenges brought by the pandemic. This will surely aid our TESDAns on the ground to immediately reach our kababayan and deliver training in the communities,” he noted.

He also assured the officials of GSIS that TESDA will handle with care all the support and donations it has been providing.
