The former 2NE1 leader made the announcement on the same day her two brand new singles “Hwa” and “5 Star” were released.

The album titled “Alpha,” will drop on Nov. 30 but pre-orders for the album have been opened to the public.

In an interview with James Corden for the Late Late Show, CL shared how excited she is to finally be able to release new music.

“I’ve been a performer for as long as I can remember but this is my first album so I’m excited about that and I could be creative and free and share all my music and perform this for my fans finally,” she told Corden.

CL also performed Hwa during her appearance on the show.

“Alpha” comes almost a year after CL released her EP “In The Name of Love,” her first solo project after leaving YG Entertainment.

A month ago, CL also released a song called “Post Up.”
