Unlike its usual routine of traveling to different cities and provinces around the country to "bring the best of European cinema to the Filipinos," the annual film festival is going online to make films accessible and closer to its audience.

" are embracing the digital platform to keep everyone safe," Cinema Europa said on its website.

This year, the annual film fest will showcase over a dozen of critically acclaimed European films such as Germany's Sweethearts, Czech Republic's Women on the Run, Hungary's Bad Poems, Poland's All These Sleepless Nights, Denmark's Before the Frost, The Netherland's The Conductor, Austria's She is the Other Gaze, and Switzerland's My Life as a Zucchini.

Viewers can stream the films for free from October 30 to November 30 on Cinema Europa's website.

Interested viewers will have to register online and pick the films to watch. A link to their chosen movie will be sent via email within the day.

Cine Europa is the longest flagship film festival in the country organized annually by the Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines.
