Prior to the confirmation of the OVP of Robredo’s test result, the VP posted on her personal Facebook page that her entire staff also tested negative for COVID-19 and that the scheduled activities will push through starting today.

“All of the OVP staff who were exposed last week tested negative. Thank God! All the activities today and the succeeding days will proceed as scheduled,” Robredo said.

Robredo also thanked all those who sent  their well wishes and prayers saying these “are very much appreciated.”

In her radio program on Sunday, Robredo revealed that she and some of her staff were quarantined after being exposed to a person who tested positive for COVID-19 on Oct. 22. All those who were exposed also underwent swab tests as part of the health protocols.

Robredo’s office has been very active in the country’s fight against COVID-19. Since the onset of the pandemic, she has been busy engaging in various initiatives under OVP’s COVID-19 Response Operations.

Among the COVID-19 initiatives of the OVP are the provision and distribution of  personal protective equipment sets to hospitals and medical frontliners, free shuttle services and dormitories to health workers, livelihood and various forms of assistance to affected communities, and free transportation services for locally-stranded individuals.

Robredo’s office also embarked on various distance learning initiatives and partnerships to help teachers, parents, and students navigate the new ways of learning and teaching this school year.
