SMART CLARK GIGA CITY--Magnolia head coach Chito Victolero said the PBA made the right decision in postponing their game against Blackwater on Wednesday.

The league decided to cancel Blackwater's game for the second straight time pending the approval of the IATF as one their players became the second "suspect case" inside the bubble.

The player, however, was later on ruled as a "false positive."

"For everybody's safety, I think the PBA made the right decision. More than anything else, their priority and concern is always the safety of the players, coaches and staff inside the bubble," said Victolero, as the Hotshots (2-4) were supposed to face the Elite (2-3) at 4 p.m.

"Whatever decision they make, we all should follow. The main objective of the PBA is to play but with safety precautions."

It could be recalled that a Blackwater player tested positive on a swab retest last Thursday, but came out negative on antigen and confirmatory RT-PCR done at the mega quarantine facility in Capas, Tarlac. He remains under strict isolation.

The Elite's match versus Rain or Shine last Sunday was suspended while the TNT-NorthPort clash was also postponed for precautionary measures. The Tropang Giga played Blackwater last Thursday.

Meanwhile, the match between defending champion San Miguel (3-2) and Meralco (3-2) will push through as scheduled at 6:45 p.m.
