Acer Introduces New Consumer Notebooks, Gaming Monitors, and an Exciting Collaboration with Porsche Design

In a present day scenario where working, learning, and keeping in touch with loved ones are mostly done from home, Acer wants users to interact and stay connected with what’s most important in a world that has changed and continues to evolve.

Acer bared its new products and upgrades, including new notebooks, monitors and projectors, and an exciting collaboration with Porsche Design during the recent [email protected] Global Press Conference.

“Acer wants to ensure that our customers continue to have access to our services and the products they need to stay connected with their everyday life: work, study, friends and family. Acer is working hard by utilizing its strengths in technology and innovation to assist people to power through these challenging times,” said Andrew Hou, Acer Pan Asia Pacific President.

First, a suite of powerful new consumer notebooks across Acer’s popular Swift, Spin and Aspire series—Acer Swft 3x, Acer Spin 5, Acer Spin 3, and Acer Aspire 5—all featuring the performance of new 11th Gen Intel® Core™ processors with Intel® Iris® Xe graphics. The upgraded laptops come with intuitive features, striking design aesthetics and the latest technology in a thin and light package and are designed to increase and improve productivity. Also an upgrade is the VD6510i, a wireless 3,000 lumens LED 1080p projector that delivers ultra-smooth 1080p 120Hz projections for work and play. The HDR-capable Acer CBL272U is a monitor that has been designed with a number of eye-friendly features, including BlueLightShield Pro to filter out potentially harmful bluelight; ComfyView, an anti-glare technology; and low-dimming capability.

Second, from Acer’s gaming portfolio comes three new Predator XB3 Series monitors for gaming enthusiasts and pros. These deliver topline performance with NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible technology, VESA DisplayHDR images and fast refresh rates. The new Predator XB3 series monitors, Predator XB253Q GW and Predator XB323U GX are designed for elite professionals who require top-of-the-line technology. The Predator X34 GS features a large 34-inch curved IPS  panel that extends the peripheral view for deeply immersive gameplay. Two new Nitro Series monitors–Acer Nitro XV272U KV and Nitro XV272 LV–provide all of the essentials for casual gamers.

Third, Acer’s premium ConceptD PCs bring the latest high-performance technologies to professional and amateur creators. The lineup includes the compact but powerful 18L ConceptD 300 desktop and ConceptD 7 and ConceptD 7 Pro notebooks. The ConceptD 300 is a powerful mid-tower desktop designed for BIM and CAD projects and intensive 3D modeling, rendering and animation. The ConceptD 7 and ConceptD 7 Pro notebooks now have 10th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors and Acer’s new Vortex Flow cooling technology.

Acer also launched its first Chromebooks powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 7c compute platform – the Acer Chromebook Spin 513 (CP513-1H/ CP513-1HL) and Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 513. Meanwhile, the Acer Chromebox CXI4 is a great choice for school labs and classrooms, families and small businesses. The new Chromebox can be purchased with the Chrome Enterprise Upgrade – Chromebox Enterprise provides workers with the business capabilities they need to work effectively.

From Acer’s TravelMate series comes three commercial notebooks for enterprise and business users. These include the TravelMate Spin P4 (TMP414RN-51), a convertible notebook with a touch screen; the TravelMate P4 (TMP414-51), a powerful and portable notebook for those who prefer traditional clamshell models; and the TravelMate P2 (TMP214-53), a durable notebook with for those who need enough ports and battery life. 

Completing the line-up for business users are the Acer BL270 and Acer B248Y monitors and the Acer PD Series, Acer UL5630, Acer XL Series and Acer PL7 Series projectors.

Finally, one of the night’s highlights, the announcement of Acer and Porsche Design’s partnership for a high-end notebook that combines advanced technologies with purist and minimalist design elements. The Porsche Design Acer Book RS with a compact all-metal chassis packs in up to the latest 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor and an NVIDIA® GeForce® MX350 GPU2 while remaining just 1.2 kg (2.65 lbs) light.
