Two Filipinos will banner the Philippine flag in one of the hit reality competition shows on a global stage.

ONE Championship CEO and founder Chatri Sityodtong confirmed the recent development to select Filipino sportswriters in a virtual conference Friday.

The two unnamed Filipinos are among the 16 contestants in "The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition" which will take place in Singapore.

Although the date has yet to be announced, Sityodtong also confirmed that another Filipino CEO will join them as one of the guest judges in the competition.

"In terms of the world champions, you’re gonna see some of the biggest names in ONE Championship, but also the biggest names in the world will be joining the show to help the contestants in the physical challenges," said Sityodtong.

Filipino-American fighter Brandon Vera, the reigning ONE Championship world heavyweight champion, is also set to participate in physical challenges prepared in the show as a guest athlete.

One athlete per episode will be featured and is expected to showcase their athletic ability and cardio endurance together with the participants.

In The Apprentice, 16 young entrepreneurs will wage war in a series of challenges, be it business matters or physical activities.

Twelve CEOs will serve as guest judges to help name the winner, who gets the chance for a $250,000 job offer to work directly under Sityodtong and serve as his protégé in Singapore at ONE Championship.
