Mayor Isko distributes food packs to local shelters to celebrate birthday

In lieu of a party, Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso gave out over 2,000 food packs to senior citizens, orphans, street dwellers, and other individuals housed in the city government’s various shelters to celebrate his birthday.

Domagoso first visited the Home for the Aged at the Manila Boystown Complex in Marikina City, where he distributed 1,538 food packs to senior citizens.

He also went to Rasac Covered Court in Sta. Cruz and Canonigo Covered Court in Paco—both of which were converted into temporary shelters—where he gave out a total of 332 food packs.

A total of 200 food packs were also provided to orphans sheltered at the Asociacion De Damas De Filipinas, Inc. in Paco and Asilo De San Vicente De Paul in Ermita.

Additionally, 400 food packs were brought to Hospicio de San Jose in Quiapo.

Domagoso turns 46 on Saturday, October 24.
