The Manila City government has prepared Rosauro Almario Elementary School in Tondo as a possible evacuation site for residents who will be affected by the heavy rains and strong winds brought by tropical storm "Pepito."
Members of the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) have already set up partition tents in the area that will serve as shelters for the evacuees.
The MDRRMO said all main roads in the city are still passable as of this writing.
Metro Manila is among 21 areas that were placed under tropical cyclone wind Signal No. 1 on Monday evening.
