The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Sunday (October 18) said no U-turn slot along EDSA will be closed this week.
MMDA is scheduled to close gradually 13 U-turn slots along EDSA until December to make way for a new bus lane.
The agency already closed the North Avenue U-turn slot last September 28 and the U-turn slot in front of Quezon City Academy on October 12 (Monday).
Assistant Secretary Celine Pialago, MMDA spokesperson, said they will soon announce the third U-turn slot that will be closed.
“No U-turn slot will be closed next week. There is still no schedule. We have not yet installed signages informing the public of its closure,” she said.
