Coast Guard continues to conduct swab tests on arriving OFWs at NAIA

The Philippine Coast Guard continues to conduct swab tests at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on all arriving Overseas Filipino Workers even as the Philippine Red Cross announced that they are not accepting specimens for examination due to payment problems with the Philippine Health Insurance Corp.

PCG commander Edyson Abarilla said they have purchased a new freezer where the specimens of all arriving OFWs at the NAIA Terminal 2 are stored.

The Department of Health informed the PCG that there is another hospital accepting OFWs specimen for examination as these must be tested 72 hour after they are taken.
