Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra: A September Valentine’s with the Note

For the past years, smartphones are very competitive and always try to surpass each other which is great for consumers. As companies learn more about their consumers' needs and wants, mobile phones are getting closer to being that perfect device.

For Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Samsung has established excellence in formulating and developing this device, which is a improvement from Note 10 and S20.

It’s been awhile that I have been using Samsung Note series. I started from Note 7 then now Note 10. All I'm saying is that the Note series has improved a lot.

If you’re a Note user, this device is the biggest, fastest and most powerful in the market today. Having tried this device for a week, I’m very much willing to upgrade from Note 10 to Note 20 Ultra.

FORM FACTOR

The Samsung Note 20 is available in Mystic Bronze, Green and Gray. On the other hand, Ultra has only two colors: Mystic Bronze and Black. There is no question that Samsung combines luxury and elegance in designing this phone. Note 20 Ultra has a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED QHD+ at 208g. It is sharp and vibrant with it super slim bezels. It makes you feel like you are holding just a screen. I also like the speed reaction of bio finger print security feature of this device compared to the Note 10. Watching movies and playing games are very pleasant. There are no borders and it definitely maximizes the screen of the unit. I like the size of this unit comparing it to the Note 10 +. For me, this is just right for my hands.

This device has a huge camera bump and squared corners. It might look weird for some people, but overall it looks very gorgeous. For me the proportions of the phone really make the design stand out with other mobile device in the market.

I notice the buttons are back from its original place. Comparing with Note 10 that all buttons and S Pen are located on left, the Note 20 buttons are located on the right side and that it includes the volume and power buttons.

In addition, the S Pen improves its features to deliver more of a feel of writing on paper and taking notes or drawing. Using its built in Air Actions similar with Note 10 series, you can use it to return home, take a screen shot, take a selfie and more various gestures. But if you're not a Note series user, you need to practice the gesture to familiarize yourself with this feature.

LENS

The Samsung Note Ultra features three rear cameras. 12mp for Ultra Wide, 108mp Wide-angle and a 12mp Telephoto camera that delivers 5x optical zoom and up to 50x super resolution zoom. Using the wide angle camera is an easy win having different perspectives and making your images look different. It also gives you a dramatic effect in every shot.

The Note 20 Ultra has the best low light function compared to other Galaxy devices for both back and rear camera configuration.

The device is equipped with an 8k video recording. The Pro video mode feature of Note 20 Ultra can use a Bluetooth Audio Source. For Samsung this is using your Galaxy Buds Live as a source of audio. This is the only device in the market that allows you take photos and videos remotely by using the S Pen.

It might be said that this device has the biggest camera bump out other, but its delivery is a knock out in terms of image quality and performance.

I’m totally impressed with the Galaxy Note Ultra's performance, features and with its camera. Having different features and tools you can use in the Note 20 Ultra it can be inspiring and empowering for people who will use this device.

HARDWARE

The Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra is really well built. For anyone interested in purchasing this phone, you’re not buying a small, handy and compact device. On the contrary, Note 20 Ultra has the most stacked spec sheet, and is the biggest and best looking phone available now.

The battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy Note20, comparing with other flagship Samsung phones, is bigger with its 4500mAh, and the Galaxy Note 20 has 4300mAh. The device is also ready for reverse wireless charging and wireless charging. Hence, it can make your battery life last all throughout your workday and keep the fun going until late night.

Furthermore, your creativity is almost limitless because the storage of Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra can hold over 1TB total with up to 256GB built-in and up to 1TB expandable memory via microSD card.

Bottom line: The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra doesn't come cheap, but having this phone with its versatile camera and a whole day battery life you won't be disappointed. And if you’re a Note lover, it’s definitely a good upgrade.
