Camarines Norte Police Provincial Office (PPO) Director Col. Marlon Tejada confirmed that Ener B. Rojo, a job order employee of Camarines Norte PEO, turned over pieces of jewelry he found near the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) lotto outlet located at the Central Plaza Mall in Vinzons Street, Daet town.

Rojo later returned the precious items to the rightful owner identified as Araceli Apolinario with the assistance of Tejada and Lt. Col. Rogelyn Calandria, chief of Community Affairs and Development Unit of Camarines Norte PPO.

Tejada said, according to Apolinario, she unintentionally left the jewelry at the Central Plaza Bingo Center. Rojo, on the other hand, said he found the items inside a red plastic bag near the lotto outlet.

Rojo will receive certificate of appreciation from Tejada in recognition of his admirable act, and P20,000 from the grateful owner of the precious items.

“That act is a source of inspiration for every CamNorteños  worthy of emulation and praise,” Tejada said.
