Don’t stop believing!

You’ve probably heard about it many times as you build your career.

“The Clash” Season 3 Masters Rayver Cruz and Julie Anne San Jose, and The Clash Journey Hosts Rita Daniela and Ken Chan are now household names but they didn’t become one easily.

Just like other showbiz personalities, they encountered rejection after rejection in their career and personal life before they finally made it big.

During an online press conference for the reality singing competition “The Clash Season 3” aired every Saturday (7:15 p.m.) and Sunday (7:45 p.m.) on GMA 7, these Kapuso stars gave advice to newbies in show business as they shared the lessons learned in achieving their dreams.

No matter what challenges you’re facing, these quotes from some of your favorite Kapuso stars will help you conquer them.

These stars believe that people should continue to pursue their dreams in showbiz despite the lack of opportunities these days due to the pandemic.

Julie Anne San Jose

She adds: “Thousands ang nag-audition sa ‘The Clash.’ Ang dami pong magagaling, nahirapan kaming magdecide. We encourage everyone na talagang sumali sa ‘The Clash.’ This is also a way of honing their talent and skills.”

Rayver Cruz

Cruz says that the young should be motivated, not discouraged, in pursuing their goals

“Huwag kang titigil.

San Jose admits it takes so much hard work to achieve success.

“In showbiz, natutunan ko ang hard work, patience, keep your feet on the ground and be grateful. Masarap pag pinaghirapn mo ang ginagawa mo. So never give up on your dreams,” she says.

Raver adds, “you gotta love what you do.”

Rita Daniela

Rita believes that the pandemic is not forever and everything else will go back to normal soon.

“Please don’t stop pursuing your dreams because this pandemic is not forever. It will stop hindi nga lang natin alam kung kelan tayo babalik sa normal,” she says.

Ken Chan

Ken reveals that one of the important lessons he learned from his mentor the late German Moreno is not to let success go into your head.

These Kapuso stars have also revealed their plans and goals for 2021 once the field is clear of COVID-19.
