Now working on a "so many features to explore, so little time" mode, I didn't care to read the manual; but navigating through it was like clockwork. Set up was fast and easy. It worked immediately without me having to figure out what to do. Impressive as it boots up fast too. At 14-inches FHD (1920 x1080) In-Plane Switching (IPS), expect significantly good viewing angles and image quality. And because of its anti-glare finish, flashy images seem to appear subdued which I actually like because it is easier on the eyes and less tiring after prolonged screen time. The IdeaPad Slim 5/5i provides a good deal of screen area owing to its thin bezels giving the user ample comfortable space to work on.
One way to work efficiently is to know and understand what the device can do for you. The IdeaPad Slim 5/5i features the Lenovo Vantage application that shows you everything you need to know about the device. Presented on a dashboard are details such as Quick Settings, System Status and Updates, Warranty Updates, Preferred Settings, Security, Support, and just about everything that'll help you keep the device up and running. Take note, it is always important to consider how the device and the user will interact with each other. The device should be easy to learn and understand. This enhances user experience. For added security against hackers, the IdeaPad Slim 5/5i's webcam has a built-in privacy shutter that users can easily slide over the camera. This physical shutter acts as a barrier/cover so that no one can spy through your webcam.
