K-pop group BTS praised American singer-songwriter Halsey in an article for TIME Magazine.
In the article, the group described Halsey as somebody “who leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets.”
“She has an incredible ability to exude this magic from within herself. Her bold spirit really shines through her music and performances, as well as her life,” the group added.
BTS said Halsey’s spirit and passion have also inspired their own artistic ambitions.
The group said collaborating with Halsey on the hit song "Boy With Luv” was “one of the easiest calls” they ever had to make as they were already fans of the singer's music beforehand.
“Working with her was everything we could have wished for and more. Halsey is not only a strikingly talented artist but also a dedicated partner who sincerely devotes everything to the art we create together,” the group wrote.
“She inspires us, and we’re incredibly honored to be able to call her our cherished friend. We cannot wait to see what she has for the world down the road,” the “Dynamite” hitmakers added.
The group described Halsey's latest album, “Manic," which one of their members SUGA participated in, as among the “most genuine pieces of work” they have encountered.
Halsey was included in the magazine's list of Most Influential People of 2020.
Last year, Halsey also wrote a piece on BTS when they were included in the same list.
