P600,000-bounty offered for kidnapper of Fil-American


ZAMBOANGA CITY – The local government and police of Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte is offering P600,000 for the capture, “dead or alive”, of a kidnap-for-ransom gang leader tagged as responsible for the abduction of Filipino-American Rex Susulan Triplet last September 16.

Sirawai Mayor Gamar A. Janihim said the municipal government was offering P600,000 for the capture of Anerson Manambahi Tungayao, also known as Ganison.

Tungayao was tagged as the principal suspect in the kidnapping of Triple in Barangay Tapanayan in Sirawai last September 16.

Janihim said a reward of P100,000  will be given to anyone who can give positive information on the whereabouts of Tungayao, and P 500,000 for his neutralization. 

Janihim said Tungayao and four his  armed men, wearing camouflage uniform  and armed with high powered firearms, abducted Triplet, 64 years old, married, and a resident of Barangay  Piacan in  Sirawai at about 6 p.m. on September 16.

Triplet was on a board a motorcycle, together with his wife Celsa Maani Triplet, 23, and was on their way home to Piacan when they were waylaid by four armed men.

The four forcibly took Triplet, while his wife Celsa, manage to escaped and run, and seek help from officials of Barangay Tapanayan.

Tungayao and his companion reportedly took Triplet to the hinterland of Barangay Tapanayan in  Sirawai.
