Swoon over these prenup photos inspired by 'Crash Landing on You'

And they’re shot in Sultan Kudarat in Mindanao

Both fans of K-drama, this couple couldn’t resist re-enacting their favorite scenes from the series Crash Landing on You (CLOY) for their prenuptial shoot. Police lieutenant Al-shadat Hassan Abdurajak loves K-drama and even Korean food, but the idea stemmed from Congresswoman Princess Rihan Mangudadatu Sakaluran of Sultan Kudarat. She told Manila Bulletin Lifestyle, “It was mainly my idea since I was so hooked with CLOY and it was the perfect idea for us since it suits my husband as he is a police officer. So, I told him I wanted a #CLOY-inspired prenup. We decided on this around February or March.”

Both adventurous and nature-loving, they wanted to show the many beautiful places in Mindanao. The question was, was he game? “Yes, definitely! He was super game with my idea since he also loved the Korean drama CLOY. We didn’t get to watch it together since that time he was still in Manila while I was here in Mindanao,” she beamed.

When asked what their favorite photos were, the pretty solon replied, “The motorcycle shot because it shows how happy and excited we really were while doing the prenup. Then the next one would be by the field because we really tried to copy the final scene in CLOY shot in Switzerland, but with our own version, showcasing the beautiful scenery in my province, which is La Palmera Mountain Ridge (in Columbio, Sultan Kudarat).”

Of course, having this shot during the pandemic, the couple had their fair share of challenges. "It was a three-day shoot but with an alternate rest day. The shoot started at 4:00 a.m. Our shoot took the whole day since we had two concepts—one for our engagement shoot with traditional clothes with modern touches and the other one was the CLOY theme," she adds. The early call time, boarding restrictions, and various health protocols were also worth the trouble, producing one of the best prenuptial photos we’ve ever come across.
