Pasig City will host this week an online training for teachers and school administrators about online learning as school opening nears despite the threat of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Entitled #HEROES2021: Help Educators Rise to Online Education for S.Y. 2020-21, the training is open to all public and private school teachers and school administrators in the city.
“COVID can't stop our teachers from teaching. COVID won't stop our students from learning,” said Mayor Vico Sotto.
The online training will be held through video conferencing app Zoom and will be live-streamed on Pasig City Facebook page on September 16 at 1 p.m.
The city government recently held a two-week online seminar on parenting amid the pandemic to help parents and guardians guide learners adopt to distance learning when school opens on October 5.
“In the coming school year, parents will have a big responsibility to ensure that their children continue their education,” the mayor said.
