Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana thanked Singson for the donation which he said "can really make people’s lives a lot easier."

The automated payment machine can be used for e-loads, bills payment, money transfer, and topping up of e-wallets.

With the machine, DND-wide personnel can now do financial transactions without going to the actual banks or money transfer outlets, Lorenzana said.

He said the machine brings convenience to DND personnel who wish to pay their bills or send money to their love ones without exposing themselves to a crowd, especially amid the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.

"Maraming salamat, Mayor (Thank you, Mayor). Thank you for your golden heart which is ready to help our soldiers," Lorenzana said.

Singson said he plans to donate more automated payment machines which will be stationed in military camps nationwide.
