Fashion fans rejoice!
This month, Swedish fashion brand Monki, under the H&M group, is entering the local fashion scene with its creative collections and inspiring store concept.
“We have a strong Monki following in Asia, and the Philippines is a new and exciting market for us,” says Monki managing director Jennie Dahlin Hansson. “We can’t wait to grow our community and welcome our customers with open arms!”
Monki, launched in 2006, has built a presence in international markets throughout Europe and Asia. At the core of it is its mission to empower young women everywhere to express and feel great about themselves.
And with on-trend designs, its eclectic collections are the pulse point where Scandi cool meets Asian street style.
Customers are invited to get the full experience in the two new stores located in Manila. It will be launched in SM Megamall on Sept. 18 and followed by the opening in SM Mall of Asia on Sept. 25.
To celebrate, Monki will be holding a livestream with DJ Butta B on Sept. 18, and collaborate with brand ambassadors Gita Gumabao, Laureen Uy, EmMillan, and Issa Pressman, who will share their advocacy for women empowerment.
The brand is known for its diverse casting and creative campaigns, many of which highlight issues in focus for young women today.
Over 120 concept stores offer the Monki experience in 19 countries. Online, monki.com delivers to 29 European markets.
