For the 4th consecutive day, no new COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) deaths were reported among Filipinos abroad, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Tuesday.

The DFA also recorded a surge of 47 new recoveries and 16 new confirmed cases in its latest report received from the various foreign service posts worldwide.

The new recoveries were reported in Asia and the Pacific and Europe while the confirmed cases were from the Asia Pacific.

To date, the Middle East remains the region with the most number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, recoveries, under treatment, and fatalities among our nationals.

Asia and the Pacific continue to have the least numbers in all categories compared to other geographic regions, except in the total number of recoveries where the Americas ranks lowest with only 454 reported recoveries.
