Ronaldo ‘Net’ Reyes… Gumaling na po siya sa COVID-19 ngunit 15 taon na siyang may high blood (We woke up to the  sad news that Captain Ronaldo Reyes has died. He already recovered from COVID-19 but he has been suffering from hypertension in the past 15 years),” Tiangco said in a Facebook post.

Tiangco commended Reyes’ “sincerity” and sacrifice as he led his village’s fight against COVID-19.

Even if he wanted to be with his family, he stayed away to save them from the dreaded disease and fulfill his duties and obligation to the whole village),” Tiangco said.

Even after he got infected with COVID-19, he did not stop reminding his constituents to take care of themselves and follow safety measures. Even in his last days, he showed love and care to his constituents),” he added.

Tiangco expressed his condolences to the Reyes family and to Barangay Bangkulasi.

We can repay his honest public service by making sure that his reminders are being followed for our own good),” Tiangco said.

The mayor advised his constituents to observe health measures, especially those who have family members with co-morbidities.

I know that you don’t want to be the cause of the death of your loved ones so please take extra care),” he said.
