LizQuen receives job offer from other networks, says manager

The denial of the ABC-CBN franchise last month left thousands of Kapamilya workers, including celebrities, jobless.

That is why some artists have joined rival networks or inked with a different management agency.

But LizQuen, composed of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, remain Kapamilya.

Recently, Liza's manager, comedy actor Ogie Diaz, claimed on his vlog that GMA and TV5 -- both rivals of ABS-CBN -- and Viva have expressed "interest" in getting the services of the two young stars.

"This is a good problem for us pero siyempre priority muna namin ang ABS-CBN. 'Pag wala talagang mabigay na ang ABS-CBN at in-allow naman sila (LizQuen) na lumipad sa ibang bakuran ay du'n pa lang kami mag ko-consider," Ogie noted.

He continued that ABS-CBN doesn't want to let go of the two stars.

"So as per Tita Cory Vidanes, na nakausap ko, ay gumagawa naman daw sila ng paraan kung paano maitatawid yung mga love teams na pinoprotektahan nila.

"So one time, merong pinitch sa amin na movie si Inay Olive (Olivia Lamasan) for Star Cinema. Excited 'yung dalawa gawin 'yung movie provided kailangan (muna) ma-flatten 'yung curve ng pandemic," he pointed out.

Few months ago, Ogie confirmed his ward's series "Make It With You" will be discontinued.

"Sa mga nagtatanong kung bakit hindi nakasama ang 'Make It With You' sa magbabalik sa telebisyon ngayong June. ..  Ikinalulungkot ko pong ibalita sa inyo bilang manager ng isa sa bida (si Liza Soberano) na hindi na po ito mapapanood pa," Ogie wrote on Facebook.

Liza's love team partner, Enrique, as well as the other cast members know about it, he added at the time.

"Alam kong nabitin kayo sa love story nina Billie at Gabo, kaya hintayin na lamang po ang pagbabalik ng loveteam sa isa pang bagong teleserye. Salamat po, mga Kapamilya!"
