It’s official: K-pop girl group BLACKPINK will feature American singer and actress Selena Gomez in their next single.

YG Entertainment announced the new single will be released on Aug. 28, which will be the second song after BLACKPINK released their global hit “How You Like That” last June 26.

The agency has been teasing about the upcoming single including an announcement that BLACKPINK will be featuring an artist. BLACKPINK and Gomez are both signed up under Interscope Records

This will be BLACKPINK’s second collaboration this year after Lady Gaga featured them in the song “Sour Candy” as part of her album “Chromatica” that was released in May. In 2018, Dua Lipa and BLACKPINK collaborated in the song “Kiss and Make Up.”

“How You Like That” is a pre-release song from BLACKPINK’s first full-length album “The Album” that will drop on Oct. 2.

The music video for “How You Like That” set a new YouTube record for the most viewed music video in the first 24 hours with 86.3 million views, which has spawned five Guinness World Records. The music video currently has 412.9 million views.

“BLACKPINK is planning to target the global market through systematic and clear plans and the practice of those plans in 2020,” said YG Entertainment regarding the upcoming single and album.
