Pop icon Taylor Swift expressed gratitude to a Filipino fan for making a cake inspired by her newest album “Folklore.”
In a Twitter post on Tuesday, John Paul Cledera shared a photo of the cake he made to celebrate the success of Swift’s eighth studio album last July 24.
“I made @taylorswift13 a cake to celebrate the success of #Folklore and #Cardigan. I literally painted this using frosting for almost two hours,” the post read.
Cledera’s post went viral that caught the attention of Swift.
“WOW this is incredible!! Thank you so much for making this. I also saw your Instagram and your art is phenomenal!” the singer-songwriter said.
Swift’s “Folklore” landed at the no. 1 spot of Billboard 200 album charts, after it was released last July 24. The singer-songwriter became the first artist ever to debut at the no. 1 spot on both Hot 100 and Billboard 200 in the same week.
