Toyota Motor Philippines unveils 2020 Vios model

TMP officially unveiled on Saturday (July 25) the 2020 update of the Philippine-made flagship model, which the company says “helps support almost 55,000 lives throughout the Toyota network, 71 dealers, 56 local suppliers, and countless other business and trade partners.”

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) Vice Chairman Dr. David Go (left), and President Atsuhiro Okamoto (second from left) tour the automotive company’s manufacturing plant in Santa Rosa, Laguna to inspect newly-assembled units of the Toyota Vios – the Philippines' best-selling passenger car.

The local production of the Vios is TMP’s contribution to the government’s Comprehensive Automotive Resurgence Strategy (CARS) Program, which aims to boost the Philippines’ automotive manufacturing industry.

The new Vios will be available to customers in all Toyota dealers nationwide starting Monday (July 27).
