27 more Filipinos abroad sick with COVID-19, tally now 9,192

Twenty-seven new confirmed COVID-19 cases and nine new recoveries were recorded on Thursday by the various Philippine consulates and embassies worldwide, bringing the total number of confirmed infections among overseas Filipinos to 9,192.
 
According to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), the new cases of recoveries were from Asia and the Pacific and European regions.

No new deaths were reported as of posting time, the DFA said.
 
Of the total, 3,167 are live cases, 5,378 have recovered and 647 succumbed to the disease. 

The Middle East and Africa remain as the regions with the most number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among Filipinos with a combined total of 6,610; Europe with 1,089; the Asia Pacific, 792; and the Americas with 701.
