ANTIPOLO CITY- After being postponed last July 15, a water service interruption will push through from July 22 to July 23 in portions of Antipolo City and nearby municipalities.
Manila Water posted on its Facebook page that the maintenance activity at its Siruna Pumping Station in Barangay Mambugan has been moved to July 22.
The repair work of Manila Water is expected to cause temporary water service interruption in several villages in Antipolo City, and some areas in Rizal, namely Teresa, Morong, Taytay, Angono, and Binangonan, beginning Wednesday (July 22) at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Thursday (July 23).
The following are the affected areas:
- Antipolo City: Barangays Bagong Nayon, Mayamot (Pagrai area only), Cupang (Pagrai area only), Mambugan, Dalig (except along road to Teresa, Tapales, Gamboa), Dela Paz, Sta. Cruz, San Isidro (except Bermuda Heights, Buliran Road, along Circumferential Road), San Roque, San Luis (except Corville, Biong, Primavera), San Jose (except Marcos Highway)
- Teresa: Poblacion, San Gabriel, May-Iba, Dulumbayan, Calumpang, Sto. Cristo, Prinza, Bagumbayan, Dalig, San Roque
- Morong: San Guillermo
- Taytay: Dolores
- Angono: Mahabang Parang
- Binangonan: Palangoy
Manila Water advised residents in the affected areas to store enough water for their needs during the interruption period.
