The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) waived its membership fees until December next year in line with the Department of Tourism’s (DOT) recovery efforts to help industry stakeholders in mitigating losses incurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

They also deferred membership renewal until January 2022.

“The 103 existing members who have paid the registration fee for FY 2020-2021 will be exempted from paying the annual fee for 2021-2022 to offset their previous payment,” the TPB added.

TPB aims to provide marketing services to members, boosting their ability to help sustain the development of the tourism industry as a whole.

In April, the DOT waived fees of travel and tourism exhibitors participating in international tourism fairs and exhibitions until the end of 2021.
