DFA Cubao consular office closed Wednesday for disinfection

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced on Tuesday the temporary suspension of operations of the consular office at the Ali Mall Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City due to the implementation of preventive measures against COVID-19.

In an advisory, the DFA said the consular office will be closed on July 15, Wednesday, for disinfection of the office premises and implementation of other preventive measures to prevent risks against COVID-19.

The Department said that affected applicants who have prior appointments and schedules on Wednesday will be accommodated until Aug. 14 during regular office hours.

It added that the consular office will resume its operations on July 16, Thursday.

The DFA appealed for public understanding and cooperation amid the country’s battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
