3 suspects kidnap construction worker

MATAAS NA KAHOY, Batangas — Three unidentified suspects kidnapped a 48-year-old construction worker last night at sitio Boundary, Barangay 2, this town.
Police reports identified the victim as Leo F. Suarez, and a resident of said place.
Reports added that around 8:15 p.m. police were informed that three suspects kidnapped the victim after introducing themselves as police officers.
The victim just came from a variety store after paying his debt when suspects approached and without any reason mauled and forcibly dragged him inside a white van and speed off toward Lipa City.
Police has still no idea on the motives and uncertain on the victim’s whereabouts while conducting investigation.
