Daughter ‘proud’ of 44-year old mom for graduating senior high school

The daughter of a 44-year old mother who recently graduated from senior high school shared their proud moment on social media, pointing to her mother’s inspirational achievement.

“Sana all matalino. Ma, hanggang makapagtapos ka susuportahan ka namin (So smart. Ma, we will support you until you finish [college],” Ryzinnia Agualada wrote on Facebook.

Elena Agualada graduated from the St. Ignatius Technical Institute of Business and Arts in Santo Rosa, Laguna under the Home Economics strand.

Ryzinnia told Manila Bulletin that her mother will be taking BS Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Santa Rosa.

She added that Elena studied while working as a house caretaker and cleaner.

Asked what she would like to tell her mom, Ryzinnia said  she would like to let her mom know that she’s proud of her.

“Nandito lang po kami para suportahan ka sa lahat ng gagawin mo, mahal na mahal ka namin (We are all here to support you, we love you so much).”
