PCG responds to distress call of vessel sinking in Cebu


The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Central Visayas responded to the distress call from a sinking vessel in the sea of Sibonga, southern Cebu on Thursday.

According to a report by DZBB Super Radyo, the PCG identified the vessel as MV Siargao Princess. It had 53 passengers and 7 crews. The vessel reportedly came from Loon, Bohol.

The Coast Guard personnel are already in the area.

As of posting the PCG Central Visayas are still rescuing the passengers.
