Black Eyed Peas member Jamie ”Taboo” Gomez, 41 years old, shared his story about his battle against cancer, Taboo recently appeared on a daytime talk show “The Doctors” to share his experience in fighting cancer ,he was diagnosed with testicular cancer last June 2014. Taboo revealed that he had surgery to remove his right testicles and underwent chemotherapy five days a week for six hours a day.

Taboo said that “Chemo is like a war, torture and a nightmare all in one”. The artist said that he had pain in years and ignored it. Those pains turned to be the signs that his tumor is growing, he said.

Taboo said he’s been cancer-free for two years now, and he released a new song called “Fight” to inspire others battling cancer, and to get tested. He is partnered with American Cancer Society for new campaign “The Fight”.(Jaren Resontoc)
