A member of the Philippine Army and two others were arrested by the combined elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 6 on Saturday.

One kilogram of shabu worth P6.8 million was seized during a buy-bust operation in a parking lot of a mall in Quezon City.

The suspects were identified as Private 1st Class Salillaguia Omar, company driver Amel Abdul and Jonald Londoy.

In a report of PDEA agent Jeffrey Baguidudol, the initial transaction was supposed to be at a shopping center in Pasay City but was suddenly cancelled and transferred to a mall in Quezon City.

At around 8:30 a.m., the anti-narcotics agents nabbed the suspects as they were in the midst of their illegal drug transaction.

Aside from the illegal drugs, PDEA agents and the police also confiscated a motorcycle and buy-bust money from the suspects.

The operation was led by the PDEA Special Enforcement Service (SES) operatives under IA SES officer-in-charge (OIC) Rogelio Daculla.
