In an Executive Order, Mayor Jaime Fresnedi ordered the extension of the Extreme Localized Community Quarantine (ELCQ) in Sitio Pagkakaisa, Zone 3 Interior in Sucat until July 3.

The community, which has 26 families, was originally placed under a two-week lockdown from June 13 to 26.

However, when the City Health Office (CHO) conducted a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test among 130 residents in the area, 29 tested positive for COVID-19.

As a result, Fresnedi decided to extend the lockdown by another seven days to stem the spread of the virus.

As of June 26, Muntinlupa has 381 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 257 of whom recovered and 37 deaths.

Bgy. Sucat has 64 cases, 32 of which are in Sitio Pagkakaisa.

In Bgy. Putatan, the city government placed Block 35 Excess Lot in Soldiers’ Hills Village under lockdown for 15 days from June 23 to July 7 due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in the community, which has 219 families.
