Buses plying the Caloocan City - Bulacan province route have resumed operations after almost three months of suspended mass transportation in most parts of the country.
A bus company employee in charge of boarding passengers said in a radio interview that residents going to and from Balagtas town, Bulacan may catch a ride or alight near Monumento Circle, where buses are parked and waiting.
The buses operate from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will pass through MacArthur Highway in Valenzuela City.
Passengers will reportedly be required to fill out a form to get personal details for possible contact tracing and will have to undergo temperature check before boarding.
"Pagsakay ng pasahero, i-scan muna sila, kung okay temperature nila (pwede), pag 37 degrees Celsius above, di na sila papasakayin (Before boarding, passengers will undergo a temperature check. If their temperature is 37 degrees Celsius above, they will no longer be allowed to board)," he said over DZRH.
Passengers below 20 years old and senior citizens -- except those who have important business to transact -- will not be allowed to board.
"Kung senior citizen, pag importanteng transaction lang at may travel pass sila, pwede silang makasakay samin (Senior citizens will only be allowed to board if they have important transactions and have a travel pass)," he added.
