No new reported case of COVID-19 in Lipa for almost 2 weeks

BATANGAS – There has been no reported case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Lipa City for almost two weeks.

Lipa City Mayor Eric B. Africa on Saturday noon posted an update on his Facebook page that there were three patients who recovered from the infection: a 34-year-old man from Barangay San Carlos, a 37-year-old woman from Barangay Pinagkawitan, and a 49-year-old woman from Barangay Marawoy.

According to the latest bulletin of the Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO), there were still 54 confirmed cases in Lipa City.

Meanwhile, 40 patients recovered from COVID-19 in this city. Nine deaths were reported.

As of Saturday, June 13, Lipa City has five active cases.
