SAN PEDRO, Laguna - The city government here recorded 12 new positive cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the city health officials announced Thursday.
Five of the patients are from the larger community, including a five-year-old female and a three-year-old female both residing in Barangay Fatima.
One of the new cases is a detainee under the custody of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the remaining six are detained by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in the city.
Meanwhile, Mayor Lourdes S. Cataquiz announced on Friday, June 12, the recovery of one of the previously recorded COVID-19 patients within the larger community.
The city now has 170 recorded cases of the disease, with 71 recoveries and 13 mortalities.
