Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Thursday arrested a construction worker and seized P6.8 million worth of shabu in Makati City.

The suspect was identified as Jonathan A. Garrucho, 42, of 111-0 8th Ave West Rembo, Makati City.
In a report to PDEA Director-General Wilkins Villanueva, operatives of the PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region (NCR) Quezon City District Office Team of Agent Cham Sulit conducted a buy-bust operation at the intersection of 12th Avenue and C-5 Road in East Rembo at about 4 p.m. that resulted in the arrest of th suspect.
The group under Director III Adrian Alvarino confiscated more or less one kilogram of shabu.
It was noted that the operation was carried out after months of intense investigation.
PDEA is now preparing charges for violation of Sec. 5 of RA 9165 against Garrucho.
