COVID-19 cases in Cavite breaches 400 mark

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) positive cases in Cavite is now at 401 with the additional nine new cases that were reported recently in the province.

The Cavite COVID-19 case tracker report showed that Bacoor continues to have the highest number of cases in the province and that Magallanes, a municipality in upland eighth district, remained COVID-free.

Dasmariñas City remained on second spot in terms of case numbers, while Imus City and General Trias City, are third and fourth, respectively.

The municipalities of Tanza, Rosario (also called Salinas), Silang, General Mariano Alvarez (GMA), Carmona, and Cavite City were next in number of cases.

The case tracker report was posted on Wednesday evening, June 10, by Sixth District Board Member Kerby Javier Salazar on his Facebook page. The report was based on the latest data from the Cavite Provincial Health Office-Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PHO-PESU).

The tracker showed that Cavite province has 401 confirmed cases, with 30 deaths, 152 recoveries, and 155 probable, 6,670 suspect, and 3,767 negative cases.
