The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Monday, June 8, announced the suspension of operations at their main office in Intramuros, Manila until Tuesday, June 9.
In a statement, the Labor department said its central office will undergo disinfection.
“Please be advised that operations at the DOLE Central Office will be suspended effective June 8 at 3 p.m. until tomorrow, June 9, for the regular disinfection of the entire DOLE premises,” it said in an advisory. “Operations at the DOLE Central Office will resume on Wednesday, June 10.”
The department did not disclose the reason for the disinfection. It also added that calls to their hotline 1349 will be temporarily unavailable during the period.
